Planning the Deadline
Manufacturing a new award is quite a long process that requires many steps described in the “workshop” section on this site. Customization increases the complexity of the manufacturing process because, from one creation to the next, the process needs to be adjusted to a different outline.
- Our standard lead time for stamped medals, insignias and coins is 6 weeks between the order confirmation (artwork approval and account payment) and the shipment from our workshop.
- Exceptionally, for “urgent projects” , the lead time might be reduced by one week .
- For bronze casting trophies , the lead time once the order is confirmed is at least 8 weeks , since the bronze casting process is mostly hand-made.
Given these long lead times, it is very important to plan in advance the creation of a customized award and to let us know early in the process the deadlines that you will have to meet.
