Relief
The type of relief – whether it is simple (2D) or sculptured (3D) – has a strong impact on the die cost. However, it has a small impact on the unit price of the medal .
We will only need to increase the medal thickness or the number of stamping strokes in medals with very strong relief, thereby increasing their unit price.
