As far as medals, insignias and coins are concerned, stamped bronze is the material that we will spontaneously suggest to you unless the overall shape is very complex.
However, with the dies made for stamped bronze, we can also stamp sterling silver or gold . These latter will be much more expensive but also much more precious.
On the other end, if you have a low budget to create your medal or a very large quantity of medals to manufacture, you might request a quote for a zinc alloy medal. Its appearance will be almost as nice as that of stamped brass medals but after a few years its plating might prove less resistant.
